The 2007 prize was awarded to Andreas Hoessli for Swiss sans papiers (Switzerland, 2006, 50 minutes) on some of the most restrictive laws on foreigners in Europe.

Shira Pinson received Special Mention for Flowers don’t grow here (Great Britain, 2005, 52 minutes) on the more than 1 million street children in Ukraine.
The 2005 prize was awarded to Vinayan Kodoth for Journeys (India, 2004, English subtitles, 38 minutes) on violations of economic, social and cultural rights in India.
The 2004 prize was awarded to Yury Khashchavatski for Prisoners of the Caucasus (Belarus/Poland/Germany, 2002, 52 minutes) on the tragedy in Chechnya.
The 2003 prize was awarded to Ayfer Ergün for Against My Will (Netherlands/Pakistan 2002, 50 minutes) on honour crimes in Pakistan.
