Participation of civil society

OMCT is facilitating civil society coordination by

  • Sharing information with national and local CSOs on country scheduling at future CAT sessions with regards to deadlines and opportunities;

  • Convening coordination and coalition-building meetings with CSOs prior to the CAT Sessions in relation to alternative report submissions;

  • Supporting national and local CSOs to present information in person to the CAT and assisting them in their advocacy activities in order to develop relevant conclusions and recommendations on their country;
