This briefing identifies priorities for key reforms in Sudan by the transitional government including law reform, accountability, rehabilitation and compensation of torture victims. It also critically looks at the measures adopted to prevent the propagation of Covid-19 in detention facilities and the capacity of authorities to protect the health of detainees.
ACJPS is dedicated to creating a Sudan committed to all human rights, the rule of law and peace, in which the rights and freedoms of the individual are honored and where all persons and groups are granted their rights to non-discrimination, equality and justice.
