Rights of the child
OMCT’s Child Rights activities aim to protect children from torture and other forms of violence and to promote and defend their rights through prevention, denunciation, reparation and advocacy. By taking into account the specific nature of the violence committed against children and its particular consequences for them, OMCT seeks to protect children who are victims of or threatened with torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
